The Number One Muaythai Water

World leading Muaythai Water

Coconut water is probably the healthiest water in the world. The ingenious thing about Koh Samui – Thailand, where Punch it Muaythai Gym’s location is, with over 3 million coconut palms, one of the largest coconut suppliers in the world. In addition to tourism, it is the second largest business on the island with a good 28 km in diameter. Around 50’000 fresh coconuts are harvested each day, which can be bought fresh on the market for 20-40 Bath. This ensures the supply of the best water in the world in Koh Samui. But why is the coconut water perfect for Muaythai? Muaythai is trained for 2 hours twice a day. Only through the training units does the body lose around 4-5 liters of water and many important minerals that we need.

Coconut

With 15 kilocalories per 100 ml, the coconut water contains very few calories, but important minerals such as sodium, magnesium and potassium where important nutrients are for martial artists. Only around 4 g of sugar per 100 ml are no problem even if the natural thirst quencher is consumed to a large extent (a Coca Cola has over 10 g in 100 ml). For this reason, it is advisable to consume 2-4 100% coconut drinks (or even better, fresh coconuts) and additionally drink over 6 liters of water per day. But be careful! You also have to give the body the opportunity to properly process the amount drunk. As a guideline, you can remember 1.5 liters of intake capacity per hour. If one compares this with the loss of sweat per hour of Muaythai 2-2.5 liters per hour, it becomes clear that without preparation one quickly gets into a liquid and mineral deficit. This is where the Muaythai coconut water helps you. Our recommendation is to take 3dl (+ – a coconut) before and after training.
