It’s actually quite simple when he uses our slogan “With respect and discipline Punch it but without violence”. If all humans understood this, we would only have champions in the world and world peace.

The Punch it Muay Thai Village was built for one clear reason: We want to offer our guests the best possible standard for their Muay Thai stay in Koh Samui.
Since opening our Muay Thai gym in 2017, we have also offered accommodation to our customers. The demand was there from the very beginning. Many of our guests do not travel to Koh Samui for just a few individual training sessions. They want to train with us for several weeks or even several months.
During the first few years, we therefore worked with several accommodation partners. We always tried to find the best available quality at a fair price. This remains a central part of our company philosophy today:
To offer the best possible quality at a price that reflects the value provided.
Over time, however, this became increasingly difficult. Many accommodation providers regularly raised their prices but invested very little in their rooms, facilities, or infrastructure. The standard remained the same while the costs continued to rise.
Eventually, it became clear to us that we could only achieve the standard we wanted by taking responsibility ourselves.
That is how the idea for the Punch it Muay Thai Village was born.
Why We Built Our Own Muay Thai Accommodation
Having our own accommodation gives us control over two essential factors:
- the quality of the rooms and facilities
- long-term pricing for our customers
Our goal was never to build a conventional sports resort or luxury resort. We wanted to create a facility that is practical, high-quality, and consistently designed around the needs of people who train Muay Thai.
In our view, good accommodation does not need unnecessary luxury. It must be clean, spacious, functional, and comfortable. At the same time, our guests should feel at home during longer stays while still enjoying a high standard.
The Punch it Village therefore brings Muay Thai training, accommodation, fitness, recovery, and community together in one central location.
Muay Thai Hotel in Koh Samui with 18 Spacious Rooms
Our Muay Thai hotel in Koh Samui has a total of 18 rooms.
Each hotel room offers approximately 35 to 37 square meters of space, making the rooms considerably larger than many standard hotel rooms.
When planning the hotel, it was especially important for us to consider feedback from our previous customers. One point was repeatedly criticized at other accommodation providers: Many rooms did not have a proper outdoor area.
When staying on a tropical island such as Koh Samui, guests want to enjoy the fresh air and spend time outside.
That is why every hotel room has its own private balcony.
Key Features of the Hotel Rooms
- approximately 35 to 37 square meters of living space
- private balcony
- view of the community pool
- short walking distances to the central areas of the Punch it Village
- suitable for short and medium-length training stays
The rooms were not designed simply as places where guests sleep at night. They are intended to provide a comfortable private space in which to recover between training sessions.
The Center of the Punch it Muay Thai Village
The center of the entire Punch it Village is located directly in front of the hotel.
From there, our guests have access to the restaurant and views of the Fitness Center, the community pool, and the Muay Thai gym.
This area is intended to become the heart of our new facility.
Before and after training, our guests can meet there, eat together, exchange experiences, or simply relax.
Muay Thai is an individual sport, but it is also strongly shaped by community. People train together, support one another, and share their progress.
We deliberately wanted to encourage this sense of community when planning the Punch it Village.
Muay Thai Apartments in Koh Samui for Longer Stays
Not every customer wants to stay in a conventional hotel room.
Many of our guests remain in Koh Samui for several weeks or months. Some want to cook for themselves, need more storage space, or prefer a larger living area.
For this reason, we built a total of 15 apartments.
Each of our Muay Thai apartments in Koh Samui offers approximately 50 square meters of living space.
Features of the Punch it Apartments
- approximately 50 square meters of living space
- fully equipped kitchen
- private dining area
- large balcony
- more space for longer stays
- direct access to the infrastructure of the Punch it Village
The apartments are designed to feel like a second home.
Our guests can organize their own daily routine, prepare their own meals, and live comfortably even during a long-term stay.
This makes the apartments particularly suitable for customers who want to train Muay Thai more intensively and live in Thailand for an extended period.
Muay Thai Pool Villa in Koh Samui
For guests who want additional privacy, space, and comfort during their stay, we offer a private Muay Thai pool villa in Koh Samui.
The pool villa offers approximately 100 square meters of living space and is fully equipped.
Features of the Pool Villa
- approximately 100 square meters of living space
- private swimming pool
- fully equipped kitchen
- walk-in closet
- spacious living area
- private areas for relaxation
- access to training, the Fitness Center, and the entire Village infrastructure
Guests also have the option of renting the studio on the upper floor.
This allows the pool villa to be used by a family or a larger group. Guests can stay together in one house while still having sufficient space and privacy.
The villa is designed for customers who want to enjoy a high-quality stay without giving up professional Muay Thai training.
Muay Thai Training and Accommodation Included in Thailand
A major advantage of having our own fully integrated Muay Thai resort is that we can combine accommodation and training directly.
Our guests do not need to contact several different providers or organize training, accommodation, and fitness separately.
Depending on the package booked, the following services can be included directly in the stay:
- accommodation at the Punch it Village
- Muay Thai group training
- access to the Fitness Center
- access to the community pool
- motorbike
- meals
This allows us to offer a complete Muay Thai camp with accommodation in Thailand.
The entire infrastructure has been designed for people who come to Thailand to train Muay Thai while also enjoying comfortable accommodation.
Why We Deliberately Chose Not to Build a Mass-Market Gym
The Punch it Village was not built to place as many people as possible into a single class.
We deliberately decided against a strategy in which 100 or more people train together at the same time.
Even with the new facility, we want to control our guest numbers and class sizes. The quality of the training must not suffer as we grow.
We want to grow, but not by pursuing volume at any cost.
Our goal is to become more professional while remaining personal.
Different Training Groups for Different Goals
People with many different levels of experience train at Punch it.
These include:
- beginners with no previous Muay Thai experience
- advanced students with training experience
- holidaymakers who want to experience Muay Thai intensively
- long-term members
- active and professional fighters
We offer four regular classes per day. Professional fighters also train in a separate Fighter Group.
This allows us to adapt the training content more precisely. A beginner requires a different form of training from an active stadium fighter.
Both groups should receive professional coaching, but they do not necessarily need to complete the same program together.
For Us, Professional Does Not Mean Commercial
For us, there is an important difference between being professional and being commercial.
Professional means:
- structured training concepts
- clear quality standards
- qualified trainers
- appropriate training groups
- modern training facilities
- clean, high-quality accommodation
- continuous long-term development
- trained staff
Being commercial would mean accepting as many customers as possible at the same time and maximizing the revenue generated from every class.
That is not our goal, and it never will be.
We do not want to become a conventional tourist gym that tries to include every new fitness trend.
For this reason, Punch it does not have a strategic focus on CrossFit, Hyrox, or other fitness trends. Those concepts are better suited to general sports resorts.
Our core expertise is Muay Thai, made in Thailand.
We want to remain 100 percent focused on Muay Thai for the long term.
A Fitness Center Designed to Complement Muay Thai Training
A modern fitness area is nevertheless an important part of our concept.
The Fitness Center is not intended to replace Muay Thai training. It is designed to complement it in a targeted way.
Our guests and fighters can use it to work on strength, stability, endurance, and physical weaknesses.
During long-term training in particular, it is important not to place demands on the body through Muay Thai sessions alone. Targeted strength and supplementary training can help further improve physical performance.
The Fitness Center is therefore part of our professional Muay Thai concept, not a separate facility for fitness trends.
Muay Thai Equipment Produced Directly at the Punch it Village
In the long term, the Punch it Village is intended to be more than a center for training and accommodation.
Step by step, our clothing and Muay Thai equipment will also be produced directly at the Village.
Our goal is to manage the entire quality-control process ourselves, from product development to the finished item.
Here, too, we do not want to produce mass-market goods.
Our principle is simple:
We do not produce quantity. We produce quality.
Our products will be developed and manufactured exclusively at our Muay Thai gym in Koh Samui. This allows us to connect training, experience, and production directly.
Our Long-Term Goal for Punch it Gym
There are a great many Muay Thai gyms in Thailand.
Some large facilities focus on high visitor numbers. Other smaller gyms operate in a very traditional, classic old-school style.
Both concepts have their place.
At Punch it, however, we have chosen a different path.
Our long-term goal is to become the best Muay Thai gym in Thailand for quality, standards, and professionalism.
In 2025, we received special recognition for our professional standard from SAT and the National Olympic Committee of Thailand, led by President Professor Pimol Srivikorn.
This recognition was a great honor for our entire team.
At the same time, it is not a reason for us to stand still. Our long-term goal is to develop Punch it into a national Muay Thai sports center in Thailand.
To achieve this, we need:
- a facility of the highest standard
- professional training structures
- high-quality accommodation
- qualified trainers and staff
- ambitious fighters
- customers who recognize and appreciate quality
- a strong and respectful community
Quality Requires Clear Limits
To maintain our standards over the long term, the number of training places and accommodation units will remain limited in the future.
The Punch it Village is not intended to become overcrowded.
We want to give every guest sufficient space, professional support, and a high-quality experience. This is only possible if we carefully manage our capacity and prevent the facility from becoming overcrowded.
For this reason, we recommend planning your stay early.
Depending on the travel period and the accommodation selected, we recommend booking approximately two to six months in advance.
This increases the likelihood that your preferred Punch it Gym accommodation and a training place will be available.
Conclusion: More Than Just Muay Thai Accommodation in Koh Samui
The Punch it Muay Thai Village is not simply a hotel next to a gym.
It is a facility built entirely on the experience we have gained over the past several years.
We listened to what our customers need, the problems they experienced with other accommodation providers, and the conditions required for a successful Muay Thai stay.
The result is a combination of:
- a Muay Thai hotel in Koh Samui
- fully equipped apartments
- a private pool villa
- professional Muay Thai training
- a separate Fighter Group and team
- a modern Fitness Center
- a community pool
- a restaurant and social meeting area
- our own production of clothing and Muay Thai equipment
We know that our accommodation is not the cheapest in Koh Samui. However, our goal was never to create the lowest-priced offer. Our goal is to provide the best possible quality at a price that reflects the complete experience.
By following this principle, we remain true to our philosophy.
We do not want mass tourism or an interchangeable sports resort. We want to create a professional Muay Thai camp with accommodation in Thailand that sets new standards for the long term.
